Boardercross and Skiercross Event Weekend Information
SUGARLOAF RESORT
January 13th – 15th

This is just a general time line – this is SUBJECT to change*** PLEASE – PLEASE register online!
Practice Day will be CASH ONLY for practice and all lift tickets to the mountain.
Event Days we will accept CASH or CHECK for anyone who did not register online

ALL ATHLETES MUST BE USASA MEMBERS
ALL COACHES MUST BE USASA MEMBERS
ALL COACHES CREDENTIALS MUST BE UP TO DATE
NO EXCEPTIONS
NO SPEED SUITS

EVENT DATES
Venue: Sidewinder – Lifts open at 8:30
Practice Day – Friday January 13th
Race 1 – Saturday January 14th
Race 2 – Sunday January 15th

Registration Times
Friday – 8:00am to 2:00pm
Saturday – 7:00am to 8:00am
Sunday – 7:00 to 8:00am

Registration will be held in the Competition Department

Event Costs
Practice Day Prices (CASH ONLY):

$40.00 for season pass holders
$55.00 for non pass holders
This includes training and an all mountain lift ticket.

Race Day Price – $70.00 each event includes lift ticket if needed

Family and Friends lift ticket – $65.00 (CASH ONLY)

Event Time Lines
Practice Day:
Course opens for inspection at 10:00
Inspection closes at 10:30
Speed runs to start at 10:30
Course Closes at 2:00

Race Day:
Course Inspection – 8:45 to 9:15
Practice – 9:15 to 10:15
Riders Meeting- 10:30 top of course
Time trials to start after riders meeting

Time trials for seeding based on single run time – no cuts

COACHES
All coaches need to provide your USASA coaches card in order to receive a coach’s ticket. No card, no ticket. Please and Thanks! You will be required to wear a coach’s band.
Coaches will be allowed on course with athletes during course inspection.
Once practice has started. Coaches will need to be in place while training is in process. NO following your athletes on the course

Other Important Information
You MUST be registered to race to practice. If you are not planning to practice, you are welcomed to check in however, you will not be able to receive your bib until the end of practice.
You MUST have your bib on and visible while on course at ALL times
We encourage you to register online!!! This will save you so much time not waiting in line!!!
You can print and sign a copy of the Sugarloaf competition waiver. If you have already been to a USASA event at Sugarloaf you do not need to do this again.
Maine Mountain Series, is CASH ONLY the day of the event.

We are very spoiled to have the course that Sugarloaf provides us with! It is the best amateur course in the country. State of the art starting gate and an aggressive course build for all ages and abilities. It is as close to Nationals as you can get!!
